The Illinois PBIS Network has designed a comprehensive training and technical assistance program for PBIS implementation that includes training targeted for specific team members and entire district teams. Each training and technical assistance series focuses on a particular level of intervention (Getting Started/Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Coaches, and Administrator Academy) and includes all of the informational topics critical to understanding and implementing PBIS at that level. Individualized technical assistance, email, and phone support is also provided.

Getting Started with PBIS/Tier 1

To select the appropriate training for your

school or district teams:

1. If your district does not currently implement PBIS, visit the Getting Started page on the
2. website for an overview of PBIS commitment and requirements prior to attending training.
3. Consult with your assigned PBIS Network Technical Assistance Coordinator (TAC) about
4. choosing and scheduling appropriate trainings for your district and school teams. For a list
5. of TACs by region see the Contacts page under About the Network on our website. **Need to change this to new contact category structure... and maybe put as #3?
6. Click on the links below for a three to five year sample training plan for both district and school team members and an explanation of course descriptions. How old are these? Are they still relevant?
