Position Title: Administrative Assistant
Reports To: ISTAC Operations and Facilities Manager
Job Goal: Contribute to the achievement of ISTAC goals by providing administrative support to program staff
Location: 550 Quail Ridge Dr., Westmont, IL 60559
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or 2 years of experience as administrative assistant
Experience and knowledge using office equipment and technology
Highly proficient in software systems including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access, Google Applications, and internet search engines
Proficient in English language, grammar, spelling, and APA style formatting
Work experience in education environment a plus
Essential Duties:
Process all organizational expenditures
Support staff in completing and submitting monthly reimbursement requests
Prepare and use budget tracking software
Prepare monthly budget reports
Support operational aspects of trainings, meetings, and events including use of web-based software
Manage in-house training facility schedules, set-ups, and resets
Prepare and assemble materials for meetings, trainings, and conferences
Order and track supplies
Maintain, updates and disseminates informational documents and reports
Keep data systems, electronic files, and hard copy files current and organized
Maintain office equipment
Draft correspondence including letters, memorandums, and mass mailings
Conduct internet research as needed
Manage office telephone and mail communications
Perform daily administrative tasks such as filing and copying
Non-Essential Duties: Other duties as assigned

Terms of Employment: 259 day work year at compensation set by the SASED Board of Control. Holidays and vacation as set by the SASED Board of Control
Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the SASED Board of Control policy on the evaluation of staff.
