School Recognition

2013-14 Recognition Process Overview

Once each school year, the Illinois PBIS Network formally recognizes schools that demonstrate implementation and sustainability of the PBIS process through measurable criteria at the Tier 1/Universal, Tier 2/Secondary, and Tier 3/Tertiary levels.  The PBIS National Center School-wide PBIS Tiered Fidelity Inventory will be the primary tool by which implementation is measured, and is an integral part of the application process in 2013-14.  For further information about accessing the School-wide PBIS Tiered Fidelity Inventory, click here.

There are four levels of recognition for the 2013-14 school year.  All schools completing the School-wide PBIS Tiered Fidelity Inventory by May 16th, 2014 will be recognized at one of the first two levels without needing to submit an application.  Schools are invited to apply for the Gold & Platinum levels of recognition if they've reached fidelity at multiple tiers.  Applications for Gold & Platinum levels are to be postmarked by May 16, 2014.
