About the Mid-Atlantic PBIS Network

The Mid-Atlantic PBIS Network, in partnership with the OSEP funded National PBIS Technical Assistance Center, supports the implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in state, local, and community agencies throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The Network is committed to building capacity of schools to prevent problem behaviors, promote positive school culture, and to evaluate the impact on both social and academic success of all youth, including those with the highest level of need. Critical to the support of school level implementation is the Network’s investment in parallel processes for local and state agencies to support PBIS implementation and scale-up with integrity and impact. Key focus areas of the Mid-Atlantic PBIS Network include:

In collaboration with the National PBIS Technical Assistance Center, the Network also establishes and evaluates model demonstrations of PBIS implementation, such as the integration of mental health and restorative justice supports into the PBIS framework.
